Tata Punch Facelift Spied

The Tata Punch facelift has been spied heavily camouflaged, but still, anyone can easily make out that this new version isn't far from the current model. Starting at the front, it continues with the same squared-off design along with an LED projector setup for the headlights. Apart from this, the Y-pattern grille, squared-off wheel arches, and the roof rails largely remain the same. However, the alloy wheels seem to be new in terms of design. Moving towards the rear end, the taillights might get a cosmetic upgrade however, this test mule was carrying dummy taillamps.
Interiors

Though the exterior changes are modest, the interior upgrades are substantial. The first thing youll notice is the new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo. Moreover, this facelift features a new 7-inch TFT instrument cluster. Dominating the dashboard is the new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, likely borrowed from its electric sibling, along with an 8-speaker audio system. Additionally, it is expected to include touch-based climate controls, wireless charging, and a 360-degree camera for added convenience.

Powertrains
Mechanically, it is likely to retain the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder revotron petrol engine, which belts out 87.8 PS and 115 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, this mill comes paired either with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT unit. Notably, it only comes with a 5-speed manual transmission with a CNG option. Moreover, with CNG, the power figures remain at 73.5 PS and 103 Nm of torque.

Verdict
The Tata Punch facelift may look familiar on the outside, but it's the interior overhaul that steals the spotlight. With premium additions like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, illuminated steering wheel, and 360-degree camera, Tata is clearly aiming to make the Punch more upmarket without altering its proven mechanicals. Buyers can expect the same reliable engine options, but with a significantly richer cabin experience.
