Tata Tiago CNG, Tigor CNG Launched In India - Check Price, Specs, Etc

With the demand for CNG vehicles increasing day by day, a number of carmakers have expanded their CNG portfolio in the country. Following the suit, Tata Motors India too launched the Tiago CNG and the Tigor CNG in the country. The Tata Tiago CNG and the Tiago CNG are the first CNG cars to be launched in Tata's portfolio and will be joined by a number of other offerings in the coming months. Having said this, here are all the details that you should know about the Tata Tiago CNG and the Tata Tiago CNG.

To start with, the Tata Tiago CNG price in India starts from INR 6.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the Tata Tigor CNG is priced from INR 7.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). A quick comparison reveals that the Tiago CNG is over ninety thousand more expensive when compared to the petrol models. The cars get iCNG powertrain that not only offers impressive performance but also takes care of the safety of the passengers. In addition to this, the Tata Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG continues to offer a premium cabin and uncompromised safety levels, thus offering a complete package to the buyers. Powering the Tiago CNG and the Tigor CNG is the same 1.2-L Revotron engine that in its CNG avatar churns out 73 PS of maximum power while the peak torque output stands at 95 Nm. This engine will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and the performance too is better than many of its direct CNG rivals. The cars not only offer segment best power figures but also offer impressive low-end grunt and segment-best driveability. The Tata CNG cars also get retuned suspension setup.

On the design front, the Tata Tiago CNG and the Tigor CNG continue to offer a similar styling. In addition to this, both the car continue to feature a good looking and premium road presence while additional chrome elements also enhance the looks of the cars. Unlike many other CNG cars in the market, the Tata Tiago CNG cars also offer a long list of features like projector headlamps, a 7-inch touchscreen system, auto climate control, electrically adjustable and folding ORVMs, auto headlamps, rating sensing wipers, etc. A new black-beige interior colour scheme is also being offered.

The brand is also offering five colour options with the Tata Tiago including a mid-night black colour option. The Tata Tigor too gets new colour options including new magnetic red. Both the cars offer a standard warranty of 2 years or 75,000 kms, whichever is earlier.
