Renault Kwid EV Spied

The camouflaged test mule was spotted on a flatbed in Chennai, revealing several exterior elements that set it apart from the ICE version. Interestingly, this isn't the first time the Kwid EV has been seen in India. Its overall styling closely resembles the Dacia Spring EV currently sold in international markets.

From the latest spy shots, the Y-shaped LED taillamps are clearly visible. The front is expected to feature a split LED headlamp setup, along with a charging port likely hidden behind the Renault logo. Additionally, the images reveal the presence of a rear wiper and steel wheels.
What to Expect?
Globally, the Dacia EV comes with a 26.8kWh battery pack, which gives out a claimed range of 220 km within a single charge. It comes with two electric motor options: a 46 PS unit and a 65 PS unit. It can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 45 minutes with a DC fast charger.

Stepping inside the EV, you can expect a similar set of features to those of the Spring EV. Some of the key features include a 10-inch infotainment screen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster with wireless connectivity. Additionally, you can expect all-four power windows, automatic climate control and a wireless phone charger.
