Tata Altroz Facelift

We at 91Wheels spotted the Altroz facelift, fully camouflaged, parked at a Tata plant in Pune, Maharashtra, in March 2025 and observed several new details. We noted a number of key updates the Altroz is set to receive - and boy, there are plenty!
Lets begin with the exterior. First things first, the front end will feature a newly designed bumper, updated LED lights, and a repositioned set of fog lamps. That said, upon closely examining the camouflaged photos, the headlights stand out as the most noticeably changed. While they still house projector LED units, the internals have been completely blacked out.

Moreover, an LED DRL strip is visible on the top half of the front end, hinting that the Altroz might also get connected LED DRLs. Moving to the rear profile - things get really interesting here, as flush door handles have been introduced. Yes, if you look closely at the front doors, the flush door setup is clearly noticeable. As with every facelift, this one too will receive a new set of alloy wheels. We suspect these will feature a 5-spoke design, albeit with a refreshed styling. Lastly, looking at the rear section, nothing major stands out in the photos. However, one can expect the usual updates like a redesigned rear bumper.

Interior
It's a no-brainer that the Altroz facelift will feature a new infotainment screen, as offering larger displays has become the new norm in todays automotive world. Currently, in the Altroz Racer, Tata offers a 10.25-inch infotainment screen. With this facelift, the same 10.25-inch Harman unit is expected to be made available in the standard variants as well - even those that dont come with the 1.2L Revotron engine.

Other things which can come here is a new interior layout, matching with the bigger Tata cars like Nexon and Curvv. To add more, the illuminated 2-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel. To add more, the 10.25 Inch MID too might come in the facelift. On features front, multiple colour ambient lights, and front ventilated seats, this we believe can be introuduced.
Powertrain
Here we suspect, the Altroz will see no changes, all the engines and transmission one can get currentlly, will be carried forward. As, all of them have been accepted by the customers and each one has its own special characteristics. That said, let's point out each engine with its specifications to make things clear.

Verdict
The Tata Altroz facelift is just around the corner, and it's very exciting news, as Tata is finally giving attention to a hatchback whose sales have significantly dropped due to the rising SUV trend. This update promises to bring a fresh vibe to this premium small car and add more features. Will it reignite people's interest in hatchbacks? Let's see. However, its main rival, the Baleno, remains a top seller in the country and has dominated the competition
