Toyota Kirloskar Motor has developed its name in the MPV and the SUV segment and no doubt that both Innova Crysta and Fortuner are the best in sales. It is the mid-size sedan and premium hatchback segment where Toyota is looking to expand its portfolio and no doubt they are offering discount schemes for August 2020.
Toyota is offering generous discount schemes on Yaris and Glanza for August 2020. Here is a detailed preview of what the Japanese carmaker has to offer!
Toyota Yaris
The mid-size sedan comes with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which makes as much as 106 bhp with 140 Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated to a 6-speed manual and a 7-step optional CVT gearbox. Toyota is offering discount worth Rs Rs 60,000 on Yaris.

This is further explained into Rs 20,000 as consumer offer, Rs 20,000 as exchange bonus and an additional Rs 20,000 as a corporate discount. The prices of Toyota Yaris starts from Rs 8.87 lakh and go up to Rs 14.31 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Its engine is refined and built to last. The car carries an old-school design but provides the most airbags in its segment. It competes with Maruti Ciaz, Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Skoda Rapid and Volkswagen Vento.
Toyota Glanza
The rebadged Baleno has been doing well in terms of sales and Toyota has an edge over its sibling because the Glanza comes with lesser pricing and an additional 1-year warranty. To further boost up the sales, the Glanza is being offered with Rs 35,000 worth of discounts.

It comprises of Rs 15,000 as consumer benefit, another Rs 15,000 as exchange bonus and the remaining Rs 5,000 as exchange one. The Glanza comes with a 1.2L petrol engine and is available in both a 5-speed manual and a CVT gearbox. It competes with Maruti Baleno, Honda Jazz, Hyundai Elite i20 and Tata Altroz.
Toyota is also providing a discount on the Innova Crysta. A total of Rs 20,000 exchange bonus is provided if you buy this model in exchange for your old car. Also, if you are an existing Toyota owner then you can also avail a loyalty bonus of the same amount as the exchange offer.
