1. Maruti eVitara
December 2

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to step into the electric SUV arena with its first-ever EV for India, the e-Vitara, which is set to make its debut on December 2, being one of the highly anticipated upcoming cars this December. This new model will showcase Suzuki's fresh EV-centric design language, marked by sleek LED projector headlamps, distinctive Y-shaped DRLs, wraparound LED tail-lamps and stylish 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The cabin moves in an entirely new direction too, featuring a redesigned dashboard with an integrated dual-screen layout consisting of a 10.25-inch infotainment display and a 10.1-inch digital driver's screen. Maruti appears to be packing the e Vitara with a premium set of features, with a fixed glass roof, ventilated front seats, a 10-way powered driver's seat, and an Infinity sound system to elevate the in-cabin experience. Safety has taken a major step forward as well, with 6 airbags and Level 2 ADAS anticipated to be part of the package, making this the most technologically advanced Maruti SUV to date. Two battery options, 49 kWh and 61 kWh, are expected to be offered, with the long-range variant targeting an estimated real-world range of over 500 km.
2. Tata Safari/Harrier Petrol
December 9

Tata Motors is preparing to broaden the appeal of its flagship SUVs, the Harrier and Safari, by finally introducing petrol powertrains. Until now, both models have been exclusively diesel-driven, using the familiar 2.0-litre motor that delivers 170 PS and 350 Nm. While that engine has served the SUVs well, the addition of a petrol option marks an important shift, one aimed at buyers who prefer smoother, quieter performance or simply don't clock the mileage to justify a diesel. Both SUVs are expected to adopt Tata's new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, the same unit that made its debut on the 2025 Tata Sierra. It produces 160 PS and 255 Nm, and is likely to be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.
3. Mini Cooper Convertible
Date To Be Announced

MINI India is gearing up for a stylish end to the year with the launch the all-new MINI Cooper Convertible ahead of its December 2025 debut. Following the recent rollout of the Countryman SE EV, the Convertible will be the brand's second major launch this season, bringing back the classic MINI charm with a modern twist. The highlight is its fully electric soft-top roof, which opens or closes in just 18 seconds and can operate at speeds of up to 30 kmph. The design stays true to MINI's playful identity with circular LED headlamps, round DRLs, an octagonal grille with the signature 'S' badge. Inside, the cabin takes a big leap forward with a 9.4-inch Android-based OLED touchscreen that doubles as the instrument panel, along with premium touches such as electric front seats, a Harman Kardon audio system, ambient lighting, a head-up display, wireless charging and automatic climate control and more.

4. Kia Seltos Facelift
December 10

The next-generation Kia Seltos is inching closer to its big global reveal, scheduled for December 10, and early sightings in both Korea and India already give us a fair idea of what's coming. Kia has begun teasing the SUV ahead of its debut, and the 2026 Seltos appears to be moving towards a more upright, boxier design language, one that aligns with the brand's newer global SUVs. Spy shots show a stronger, squared-off silhouette along with fresh connected lighting elements and redesigned front and rear sections. The cabin is expected to take a noticeable step forward as well, adopting Kia's latest screen layout and a more modern, simplified control setup. While the company hasn't shared technical details yet, updated powertrains and improved safety tech are almost a given, with whispers of a hybrid option also circulating.
