In the 2023 facelift of the Aura, Hyundai has maintained the 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. However, the 1-liter turbo petrol engine, which was available in the pre-facelift model, has been discontinued in the new facelift. The Aura also retains its availability in the CNG option.

The 1.2-liter NA petrol engine in the Aura generates 83 bhp of power and a maximum torque of 113.8 Nm, and is offered with a choice of either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission. The CNG variants of the Aura produce a maximum torque of 95.2 Nm and 69 bhp of power, and come with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The CNG engine is claimed to give a mileage of nearly 28 km/kg.

Hyundai has implemented several exterior design updates in the Aura facelift. Notably, it now features inverted 'L' shaped LED DRLs, replacing the front fog lamps seen in the pre-facelift model.
