Maruti Suzuki Manesar Plants: Annual Capacity Reaches 9 Lakh Vehicles

Maruti Suzuki operates three manufacturing plants in Manesar, situated within the Gurugram district of Haryana, India. With the addition of this new assembly line in Plant-A, the total manufacturing capacity at the Manesar facility has now reached 9 lakh vehicles per year. The Manesar facility holds particular importance as it has played a pivotal role in Maruti Suzuki's milestone achievement. Combined output from the three plants has amounted to over 95 lakh (9.5 million) units, which has significantly contributed to Maruti Suzuki's overall production milestone of 3 Crore (30 million) vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki has set its sights on increasing its production capacity to 4 million vehicles per annum over the next 7-8 years. To reach this ambitious target, the company is gradually adding 1 lakh vehicles to its annual production. Among the diverse range of vehicles manufactured at this facility are some of Maruti Suzuki's best-selling models, including Ertiga, S-Presso, XL6, Wagon R, Brezza, Dzire, Ciaz, and Celerio.

Mileage Figures For Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift Revealed

The upcoming 2024 Maruti Swift Facelift hasn't hit the Indian market yet, but it's already made its debut in the UK. There, it's available with three engine options. The 1.2-litre petrol with 5-speed manual transmission (MT) and all-wheel drive (AWD) achieves a mileage of 24.49. Its 1.2-litre petrol with a CVT delivers 25.55 mileage, while a 1.2-litre petrol with 5-speed MT offers the highest mileage of 27.29 kmpl.
