The Ola Electric scooters received a commendable response in the market ever since the launch. The S1 and the S1 Pro not only offer an impressive range on a single charge but in addition to this also offer attractive looks and a long list of features. the brand recently announced that it will be opening the second purchase window for both of these scooters on December 16. Ola Electric is now focusing on delivering the pending orders before it starts taking fresh bookings for the next set of customers. The company officially announced to the customers that they will be opening the second purchase window for fresh orders from December 16, 2021. Ola Electric will also be reaching out to the customers and will schedule test rides in the coming few weeks. In its first purchase window in September, the brand received over lakh bookings for S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters. Earlier this month, the brand assured its buyers that they will be meeting its delivery deadlines announced earlier.

However, the delivery timetable for some of the buyers is expected to be shifted to the early months of 2022. Many of the lucky customers were recently notified about their confirmed booking in the first purchase window. Customers who got their booking confirmation will now be able to test drive the scooter from November 10 at multiple touch spots set up by the brand. These customers will be required to pay the remaining amount only after having an extensive test drive.
Ola Electric made its debut in the country by launching the S1 & S1 Pro e-scooters. The brand soon gained popularity and the S1 and the S1 Pro became one of the most awaited electric scooters in the country. Unveiled on 15 August, the Ola S1 and S1 Pro are priced at INR 99,999 and INR 1,29,999 (ex-showroom) respectively. These scooters take on the rivals from brands like Ather Energy, Simple Energy, etc.

It is worth noting that both these scooters are eligible for the governments FAME II scheme. In addition to this many other state subsidies are also available for both of these scooters. In all, these subsidies club together to reduce the cost of S1 by INR 14,900 while the S1 Pro buyers will enjoy total subsidies of INR 19,850. The buyers can book their scooter by paying the booking amount of INR 499 through Ola Electrics official website. Ola Electric will also be setting up many official touchpoints across the country. It also plans to set up an improved charging infrastructure.
