Tata Sierra Spotted With A Tri-Screen Setup; Details

At the 2025 Auto Expo, we saw a near-production version of the Sierra concept, and while it did not have a completely production-ready interior at the expo, there was a tri-screen setup clearly visible in the car, similar to what we have seen on high-end cars such as the Porsche Panamera, and more recently mass-market EVs like the Mahindra XEV 9E. The tri-screen infotainment setup is likely to feature 12.3-inch screens for the instrument cluster, the infotainment screen, and the passenger display screen.

The interiors of the Sierra also show other elements shared with other Tata cars, such as the two-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo. The centre console and the dashboard are not clearly visible, but we can expect it to be shared with the Safari and the Harrier. The air-con vents also appear to be different from other Tata cars.
Given that the Sierra is set to come with a tri-screen setup, Tata is highly likely to equip it with third-party entertainment and gaming apps, along with other things such as Amazon Alexa. Some other features could also include Level 2 ADAS, A 540-degree camera, an e-IRVM with an integrated dashcam, off-road modes, and seven airbags among many other things.

The combustion-powered Sierra will likely share the new ATLAS platform with the Curvv. This platform accomodate all-wheel drive or 4x4 capabilities, and the Sierra could possibly be the first ICE car from Tata in recent times with some off-road capabilities. Along with the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel mill, the ICE Sierra could also be powered by the new 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo-petrol engine.

As for the Sierra EV, it will be built on the new Acti.ev platform, but rest of the technical details remain under wraps for now. The Sierra EV could also likely be powered by a dual-electric motor setup in higher trims, since the Acti.ev platform can accomodate front-wheel, rear-wheel, and all-wheel drive.

Verdict
The Sierra brand enjoys a great recall value, but it remains to be seen how Tata Motors equips and prices the car when it is eventually launched. Also, it remains to be seen if the ICE Sierra finally comes with some off-road capability, just like the original car from back in the day.
