To cater for its customers, Tata has brilliantly created three different variants of the Tata Ace Gold Bs6. The following are the details regarding Tata Ace Gold and its variants:

Tata Ace Gold variants

The Tata Ace Gold Diesel is the most popular variant among the other two, simply because of the power and torque figures that its diesel engine churns out. Also, the rising price of petrol is one of the important factors that has led to the boom in sales of its diesel variant.

The Ace Gold diesel has a reliable 2 cylinder engine of 700CC. It is a naturally aspirated DI engine known for providing good fuel economy figures. The vehicle churns out 20HP and 45 Nm of torque which is good for climbing steep inclines with ease. This variant of the Tata Ace Gold has better acceleration capabilities while climbing inclines with load and has 27.5% of gradeability.

The vehicle has the capacity to carry loads that weigh around 750Kg and can be used for all types of last-mile transportation. It has robust chassis, rugged front and rear leaf spring suspension setup and heavy-duty axles to take on any kind of load.

The Tata Ace Gold Diesel gets features such as a digital instrument cluster, a big glove box, a USB charger and all the basic requirements. In terms of service, all the spare parts for this vehicle is easily available and Tata Motors offer a 2 years full warranty.

Tata offers the Ace Gold in another variant called the Ace Gold Petrol. As the name suggests, this vehicle is powered by Tata's 275 Gasoline MPFI BS6 petrol engine that churns out 30 HP and 55Nm of torque. Basically, the 4 Stroke water-cooled engine is quite powerful and peppy. The engine also provides higher acceleration power.

In addition to this, the vehicle has a 30% gradeability which means that the Tata Ace Gold Petrol can climb steep terrain efficiently even with cargo onboard. The Ace Gold Petrol has features such as a Gear Shift Advisor and Eco Switch for high fuel efficiency.

Tata Motors claims this LCV can help earn Rs 25,000 profit per month by transporting all kinds of goods such as fruits & vegetables, Gas cylinders, consumer products, furniture, FMCG, Diary products etc.


Tata Ace Gold variants

The last variant of the Tata Ace Gold is powered by a water-cooled multipoint gas injection engine. It is a 694CC CNG engine that churns out 26HP at a peak torque of 50Nm. This is quite an impressive figure for a CNG engine. The vehicle has quicker acceleration and can carry heavy loads like a breeze. However, do note that the payload of this variant is quite lesser than the other two. The Ace Gold CNG can carry loads up to 640Kgs which is not bad for a CNG powered vehicle.

The CNG engine of the Tata Ace Gold is quite fuel-efficient and the vehicle has a 29% gradeability. Like the other two variants, Tata equips the Ace Gold CNG with a gear shift advisor to get better fuel economy figures.

The Ace Gold CNG gets a cargo loading area of 2520mm which is 8.2 feet. This helps in carrying loads that maximize profit.

The Tata Ace Gold has set new standards in the Light Commercial Vehicle segment by establishing the fact that it is a powerful and reliable machine. Tata Ace Gold has competition from the likes of vehicles such as the Mahindra Jeeto and the Maruti Suzuki Super Carry, however, it has remained unaffected by the test of time and has turned out to be the leader in the LCV category.

The Ace Gold comes at a starting price of Rs.4.41 Lakh and goes all the way up to Rs.5.47 Lakh making it one of the most affordable LCVs in the market.
