Piaggio has two popular two-wheeler brands in India, namely Vespa and Aprilia. Now, the company has today announced that Piaggio has opened 100 new dealerships in India and the company is gearing up for new launches. Here are all the details about it.
This Italian automobile manufacturer has achieved a great milestone in the Indian market. Piaggio has opened 100 new dealerships in India in just 100 days. This includes not only two-wheeler showrooms of Vespa and Aprilia but also three-wheeler showrooms and the company's special experience centres for its new-age mobility solutions which include Piaggio's electric three-wheelers. Now, after the recent expansion, Piaggio India has now 725 dealerships and 1100 touchpoints across the country. The company's strong dealership network will surely help Piaggio to boost the sales of its vehicles.

Commenting on the network expansion, Diego Graffi, MD and CEO, Piaggio Vehicles said, "It is our endeavour to continue providing best-in-class and stylish offerings to our customers, both in the two-wheeler & three-wheeler space, across our brands including Vespa, Aprilia and Ape. We have the advantage of understanding customer needs in India with the added advantage of our strong R&D in Europe and India. We have a plethora of products and engines that we have access to and will bring in the required ones to India, based on customer requirements and suitability. To ensure these offerings come closer to the customer we are expanding our reach and the addition of these 100 dealerships is a step in that direction."

The company is also planning to soon launch the new Aprilia SXR 125 in the Indian market. It will be a 125cc maxi-scooter and is expected to be priced around Rs. 1.15 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
