What are the TVS Indus Honours?

Set against the backdrop of India's design potential, the TVS INDUS initiative is named after the Indus Valley Civilization, one of the earliest examples of sophisticated urban planning and human-centered design. True to this legacy, the new program emphasizes innovation with purpose, blending ancient wisdom with forward-thinking solutions for modern mobility challenges.

A Platform for All Creators

The 2025 edition of TVS INDUS opens its doors to students, professionals, and design enthusiasts from all walks of life, regardless of formal design education. Participants are invited to individually develop fresh mobility concepts across monowheel, two-wheeler, and three-wheeler formats, with an emphasis on contextual relevance - both socially and environmentally.

Themed around four uniquely Indian regions - Thar, Sahyadri, Kutch, and Mumbai - the competition challenges applicants to explore regional identities and design mobility solutions that mirror local culture, geography, and user needs.

From Concept to Impact

Entrants will be judged on criteria such as originality, user-centric thinking, contextual understanding, and feasibility. A panel of acclaimed designers and mobility experts will evaluate the submissions, and winners will be awarded cash prizes up to Rs. 5 lakh. A Viewers' Choice Award will also be presented based on public voting, and select participants may land coveted internship opportunities with the TVS Motor design team.

Speaking on the vision behind the program, Amit Rajwade, Vice President - Design at TVS Motor, remarked, "Design is more than just aesthetics - it's about shaping impact through imagination. With INDUS, were setting up a creative playground for the next generation to tell the world what Indian mobility looks and feels like. It's about moving with purpose, rooted in who we are."

Registrations are now open on the official website www.tvsindus.com. The submission deadline is October 6, 2025, and there's no entry fee. Only individual applications are accepted, encouraging personal expression and vision.
