Custom TVS Apache & Ronin Models Showcased

The first-ever West Chapter ride by the TVS Apache Owners Group (AOG) and the TVS Ronin CuLT community saw participants riding in from Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad. The journey itself was as central to the experience as the destination, highways gave way to rural stretches, which eventually opened into the vast salt plains near Bhuj. Rann is increasingly being seen not just as a tourist stop, but as a new hotspot destination for enthusiasts with long, open roads and dramatic desert backdrops naturally lending themselves to motorcycling, and the ride format reinforces that appeal.

At the venue, the TVS showcased the brand's performance DNA. Stunt displays under the TVS Apache Pro Performance banner, FMX showcases from TVS Racing, and drift training sessions featuring the Ronin Drift-R format were a part of the event. Adventure-focused sessions built around the Apache RTX platform and a dedicated Women's Drift-R Championship further broadened participation.
Custom Motorcycles Inspired By The Rann

Perhaps the most visually striking element of the event was the Rann Utsav Custom Series, five bespoke motorcycles designed as interpretations of the desert landscape. Four models, the TVS Ronin, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, TVS Apache RTR 310, and TVS Apache RR 310, were custom-built under the theme "A Symphony of Salt and Sky" developed in collaboration with Eimor Customs. The bikes feature hand-painted panels that mirror the stark contrast between the white salt flats and the ever-shifting desert sky. Laser-cut stainless-steel badges mark each as part of a limited-run conceptual series.
The fifth build, a specially modified Ronin-themed "Unscripted Exploration," leaned toward functional artistry. With dual-purpose tyres, a modified front mudguard, reinforced rear rack with modular luggage, and Ajrak-inspired leather detailing, it balanced visual storytelling with terrain-ready practicality.

Beyond Promotion- Toward Experiential Tourism
By returning to the Rann for a second consecutive year, TVS appears to be shaping a long-term experiential platform rather than a one-off showcase. The collaboration positions Rann Utsav not merely as a cultural festival, but as a destination that merges landscape, motorsport, and lifestyle travel. "The Rann of Kutch stands as one of India's most remarkable expressions of culture and heritage. The Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's long-standing vision and encouragement to promote India's destinations and experiential tourism has been a strong source of inspiration for TVS Motor. It is an honour to take this vision to the next level by pioneering motorcycling-led adventures that position India's treasures on the global tourism map," said Sudarshan Venu, Chairman, TVS Motor Company.
Verdict
What unfolded at the Rann was a broader attempt to redefine how destinations can be experienced. By combining rider communities, performance showcases, and culturally inspired custom builds, the initiative positioned the Rann of Kutch as more than a festival venue, it became a living, rideable landscape. However, the focus was the colourblast custom models by the experts, that underscored the shared passion for motorcycling amongst all the attendees.
