Skoda India has recently introduced the MySKODA Connect service in the new Skoda Rapid. This feature will let the owners customise their Skoda car using the MySKODA Connect App. The Skoda Rapid is now becoming a popular choice in the segment as it not only gets powerful and a refined TSI engine but is also one of the best built and best-looking cars in the segment. The owners of the Skoda Rapid will be able to access features like live tracking, records and prompts, trip analysis, driving behaviour, and safety and security using the MySKODA Connect app. In addition to this, the application also lets the know the owners detailed data about various parameters regarding the vehicle and helps the owners stay up to date with everything about the car.

Currently, the Skoda Rapid is priced from Rs 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market for the base variant while the range-topping Monte Carlo AT model has priced at Rs 13.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The car is powered by a 1.0-L TSI engine that delivers a maximum power output of 110 PS while the peak torque power output stands at 175 Nm. This engine can be had with a 6-speed MT or a 6-Speed AT. The fuel economy figures from this engine stand at 18.97 kmpl for the manual while the automatic variant delivers 16.24 kmpl.
The Skoda Rapid rivals against the cars like the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Ciaz, VW Vento and Toyota Yaris.
