With the recent update, the 2020 VW Polo 1.0 TSI gets a feature-rich and a well-built cabin. the car gets touch screen infotainment system and automatic climate control. The grey-black colour scheme looks classy. In addition to features such as auto-dimming IRVM, Automatic rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, and rear ac vents, the Polo also gets a very safe and well-built cabin and body shell. While there is an ample amount of space at the front, the rear passengers will feel cramped up and claustrophobic. Talking about the seating, it is low and ingress and egress from the vehicle may not be very comfortable, especially for the elders.

Now moving to the Ford Figo, the car is handsomely equipped with features like push-button start, automatic rain-sensing wipers and headlights, Fly Audio System, Automatic climate control, etc. The fit and finish levels in the Figo may not be as good as the VW Polo but is better than most other rivals. The seats are comfortable and there is enough space at the front and at the rear. However, even though the car misses out on a rear ac vent, the air conditioning system is powerful enough to keep the cabin chill. The suspension however is on the softer side making the ride very comfortable but taking a toll on the driving dynamics.

It has been almost a decade since the VW Polo was first time introduced in India and since then, things have remained largely similar in terms of overall design language. Over the years, the car did receive a number of minor tweaks here and there but still is almost similar to its first-gen. The front looks elegant and classy without any over-aggressive character lines or cuts and creases. Even after more than a decade since the car was first time launched, the Polo still does not look dated and the design language is simply timeless.

Moving to the Ford Figo, the honeycomb grille and the blacked-out headlights do give this car some sporty appeal and a distinctive appearance. The power bulge on the hood and the lower grille on the bumper gives it a bold stance. However, comparing it to the Polo, the Figo surely looses falls behind as the Polo gets a much better design.
